I can honestly say that I lived one of my dreams today when I get the opportunity to shoot with the incomparable Miss Mosh. She was even more amazing to work with than and of my fan-girl fantasies could imagine… So thank you Mosh! And thank you Laura for your amazing hair skillz!!

The Year of Magical Thinking: Style heavily influenced by Brooke Shaden [link] and Caravaggio. Texture smoke overlay from aurostock [link] Theme from Joan Didion’s book the year of magical thinking. An alternative title would be ‘the monster inside of me’. This photo is very personal to me. A few people who know me might be able to guess what this is about. I don’t want to say what it means to me because I would like to hear other peoples thoughts on what it might mean from their perspective… I’m taking my photography in a new direction and this is sort of the beginning. I’ll be doing a lot more exploration on themes like life and death, love and loss, and those types of good things. I don’t know how people model for photos. The whole process is frighting.
